It's August
and my
babies are
back in
school. I
sure do miss
them but
it's about
time for me
to have a
break. I
took the
first two
weeks of
August off
for some
much needed
rest. The
first week
my wonderful
friends made
their place
available
for me to
rest.
Talking Rock
First
Baptist put
together a
wonderful
basket of
goodies for
me to have
when I woke
up and I
really
enjoyed it.
The second
week I went
to Buchanan,
Tennessee
and spent
time with
some of my
favorite
people. Joe
Ed, Janice,
Bailey and
Nathan
Smith. We
had a great
time just
hanging out.
They put me
up in a Bed
and
Breakfast
and man was
it nice.
Danny and
Katie took
good care of
me. Katie
kept me fed
and Danny
kept me
laughing.
That's a
great
combination.
Wednesday I
got to talk
about Cowboy
Church at
their
church,
Friendship
Baptist
Church, and
God blessed
me in a
mighty way.
It was a
church with
some really
sweet
people. I
had a great
time and I
am so very
appreciative
to all the
people that
made my time
off so
enjoyable
and I pray
God's riches
blessings on
them.
When I
got back,
there were
so many
people who
had stepped
up to the
plate to
help us.
It's
amazing! We
have people
helping in
almost every
area. Of
course,
there is
always room
for more. If
you want to
help, just
see me. I
will be
spotlighting
the helpers
one by one
in the
newsletter.
It will be
exciting and
I'm looking
forward to
that. We've
started a
new study
program on
our youth
nights and
we are
really
enjoying it.
Ron Rucker
and
Cornerstone
Church
bought this
literature
for us. It's
called
"Freedom in
Christ for
young
people." I
want my
youth to
understand
their
position in
Christ and
the power
that we have
over sin and
the devil.
Thank you
Pastor Ron
and
Cornerstone
Church.
Please keep
us in your
prayers as
we endeavor
to teach
these kids
the truth
and bring
the church
of Jesus
Christ to
the people.
I
am so very
blessed at
all God has
done and am
excited to
see what he
has in store
for us. The
Bible says
"If ye abide
in me, and
my words
abide in
you, ye
shall ask
what ye
will, and it
shall be
done unto
you. John
15:7 we are
resting in
this
promise. God
bless you
all. One
day we will
ride with
Him in
white...
