April 2011 - From the Heart of A Cowgirl
Rebecca Hampton

The Passover Seder was the highlight for the month of April. About 150 people attended and many
have expressed to me what a blessing it was. People from Foothills Community Church, Mt. Zion,
Cornerstone, Belmont Baptist, Tikvah l' Chaim a Messianic Jewish Fellowship, God Chicks, Tom
and Julie Graves with their children and Grandmother, and my supervisor from the North American
Mission Board Tim Cummins with his family to name a few.

Rabbi Gary Maxted and his wife Cheryl conducted the service in such a wonderful way. Their
daughter Courtney read beautifully in Hebrew from the Haggadah (telling of the Passover story).
Their son-in-law Jimmy was very helpful and took some great pictures.
God Chicks did a great job in preparing and serving so many people. There were so many in the
congregation that helped in making this a hugh success from serving to donations of food, preparation
and clean up. I could never have done this on my on. When God is in charge, He'll bring all the
pieces together. Thank you and praise Him.

Chico and Marsha Nix with Sarah Dromy performed some beautiful Hebrew music. The Nolan's
blessed us with a wonderful little Lamb and The Cowboy Kids performed a powerful presentation of
"Now behold the Lamb" as Daniel Hernandez, clothed in a robe and a crown of thorns, held the little
lamb. They finished off with "Arise my Love" an appropriate end with the resurrection of our Lord.
God is pouring out His blessings on Cowboy Church. You need to be here. If your not, your missing
something because God is at work.

Mt. Zion Baptist and Tikvah l' Chaim have partnered with us to help bring the Church of Jesus
Christ to the people and reach this community for Christ. A special thanks to you for believing in
this ministry and caring about my children.

I'm humbled at the many supporters that come along side of us and am truly blessed by all you do
for us. It would take the whole newsletter to name everyone but you know who you are and God
does to. When we get home, we're going to have an awesome celebration of all that has been accomplished
in His name.

I'll leave you with this: When thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the
resurrection of the just. Luke 14:13,14
Be Blessed!
